HOTEL ACCOMMODATION



The Amsterdam RAI Hotel and Travel Service is happy to assist you in making your hotel reservations for the 5th European Zebrafish Genetics and Development Meeting! In close consultation with the organization we have made a selection of hotels in the RAI Convention Centre area and in the city centre of Amsterdam. This means you benefit from our intensive contact with many hotels and we can offer you the lowest rates!
In case you prefer a hotel which is not on our list of selected hotels, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Please note that demand for hotel rooms in Amsterdam is high during meetings and other events. Our advice is to make your reservation as soon as possible to ensure a booking at the hotel of your choice!

To reserve your hotel room, please click the red button to enter the online reservation system, where you can make your hotel reservations quickly and easily, and will receive instant confirmation! For individual hotel reservations (up to 9 rooms) we request a guarantee by credit card. Owing to the international character of our activities the online reservation system is in English. Our web site is fully secured by SSL (secure socket layer). This ensures your personal and credit card details are safe.

Budget accommodation

We have also included a youth hostel in the city centre of Amsterdam, the Stayokay Vondelpark. This hostel has rooms for up to 4 persons. Please note that these rooms need to be booked per room and not per person.

Confirmation of reservation

Individual reservations (up to 9 rooms) will only be confirmed if a credit card guarantee or deposit is received. RAI Hotel & Travel Service will confirm your reservation giving details on the hotel reserved with complete address. Group reservations (more than 10 rooms) for exhibitors, companies, travel agencies etc. will be dealt with by RAI Hotel & Travel Service by separate contracts.

I. Individual Reservations (up to 9 rooms)

Payment
All individual reservations require a guarantee with a valid credit card.
Cancellations
Cancellations of individual reservations and no shows will be charged an administration fee of € 15 per room. For cancellations received within 48 hours prior to the arrival date, the hotel is entitled to charge the first night's room rate.

II. Group Reservations (as from 10 rooms)
Payment

Option 1 - Bed & Breakfast After the Event and after receipt of all hotel invoices, RHS will send the final invoice with the breakdown. In case one month prior to arrival the total amount has not been paid, all costs of the hotel room, city tax, breakfast and any additional charges need to be paid directly by each guest upon departure in the hotel).

Option 2 Client own account Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing. Room nights cancelled more than 3 months prior to the first arrival date: rooms can be cancelled without charges. If room nights are cancelled less than 3 months prior to first arrival date, cancellation costs are applicable. The Standard terms and Conditions for Hotel and Industry (UVH) are applicable. RAI Hotel & Travel Service will send you a copy of these conditions upon request.

Please note: In conformity with the Dutch Uniform Conditions of the Hotel Industry (UVH) the above cancellation conditions will apply. However, experience has taught us that various hotels do make exceptions and charge less. RAI Hotel & Travel Service will do their utmost to keep the costs as low as possible for you.
